We are looking for an experienced GCP Test Engineer with solid expertise in Cloud Data Testing & Data Quality Validation to join our team.
? Role: GCP Test Engineer
? Experience: 8+ Years
? Work Mode: Remote
? Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
? Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days only
? Must-Have Skills:
✅ BigQuery
✅ Dataflow
✅ Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow
✅ Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
? Key Responsibilities:
- Validate end-to-end GCP data pipelines involving Cloud Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery & GCS.
- Analyze complex BigQuery SQL queries for source-to-target reconciliation, data quality and transformation testing.
- Validate historical and incremental data loads across cloud data warehouse environments.
- Perform comprehensive Data Quality Assurance (DQA) checks — completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, freshness & referential integrity.
- Validate Airflow DAGs, dependencies, workflows and failure scenarios using Cloud Composer.
- Perform batch and streaming data validation for Dataflow pipelines.
- Validate dimensional/fact table loads, surrogate keys and SCD Type 1 & Type 2 implementations in BigQuery.
- Automate audit reconciliation and data validation using SQL-based frameworks.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for troubleshooting, RCA and production data integrity.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, release validation and production deployment verification.
