About the Role

We are hiring a Web Developer to build and improve the web applications and APIs behind our fleet management and vehicle tracking platform. You will develop reliable, scalable tools used to manage vehicles, devices, drivers, alerts, and business operations.

This is a hands-on role for a full-stack developer with strong React skills and experience working with Laravel-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Laravel and PHP.
- Design efficient database structures, queries, and data-access patterns.
- Integrate third-party APIs, mapping platforms, telematics services, and external systems.
- Build features involving real-time and location-based data where required.
- Implement secure authentication, authorisation, roles, and permissions.
- Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve technical and production issues.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Required Skills & Experience

- Robust professional experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Experience building responsive, production-ready web applications.




- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or a similar relational database.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or a similar modern CSS framework.
- Good understanding of web application security, authentication, and authorisation.
- Strong Git, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience with fleet management, GPS tracking, telematics, IoT, logistics, or transport software.
- Experience with Google Maps, Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenStreetMap, geofencing, or geospatial data.
- Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, MQTT, Redis, and background job processing.
- Experience integrating Flespi, Wialon, or similar telematics platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Linux, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with React Native or mobile API integrations.
