About the Role

Stargate is looking for a Freight Sales Representative to support business development in the U.S. freight and transportation market.

The primary responsibility of this role is to identify prospective shipper companies, reach out to the right decision-makers, generate qualified leads, and build new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify U.S.-based shippers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and other companies that regularly move freight.
- Find relevant decision-makers such as Logistics Managers, Transportation Managers, Supply Chain Managers, and Shipping Managers.
- Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
- Introduce the company's freight and transportation services to prospective customers.
- Understand prospects' shipping lanes, freight volume, transportation needs, and current challenges.




- Generate and qualify leads and maintain a solid sales pipeline.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and schedule meetings with qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and follow-ups.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for outreach, leads, and new business opportunities.

Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Confident communicating with U.S.-based businesses and decision-makers.
- Comfortable with cold calling, outbound sales, and regular follow-ups.
- Strong communication, research, and lead-generation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
- Previous experience in freight, logistics, trucking, transportation, or B2B sales is preferred.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.AI, CRM systems, and email prospecting tools is a plus.
- Understanding of the U.S. freight and logistics industry is an advantage.
