Job Summary The Floor Supervisor – Bodyshop is responsible for supervising day-to-day workshop activities, ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and according to manufacturer standards. The role involves managing technicians, monitoring repair progress, maintaining quality and safety standards, coordinating with service advisors and other departments, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations on the bodyshop floor and allocate jobs to technicians based on workload and skill level.
- Monitor repair progress from vehicle reception through body repair, painting, assembly, quality inspection, and final delivery.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to OEM/manufacturer specifications and approved repair procedures.
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper fitment, finishing, paint quality, and overall repair quality.
- Identify technical issues, bottlenecks, and rework requirements and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with the Bodyshop Manager, Service Advisors, Estimators, Insurance Coordinators, Parts Department, and Paint Shop.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, attendance, and job performance.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Control material usage and minimize wastage, rework, and unnecessary repair costs.
- Ensure all vehicles are handled carefully and protected from additional damage during the repair process.




- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the workshop floor.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and provide technical guidance to technicians when required.
- Track pending jobs and ensure delays are communicated promptly to the concerned team.
- Support final quality checks and ensure vehicles are ready for delivery within the committed timeline.
- Prepare or maintain daily productivity, job-status, quality, and performance reports.
- Handle customer-related technical concerns escalated by the Service Advisor or Bodyshop Manager.
- Train and coach technicians to improve technical skills, productivity, and repair quality.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in an automotive bodyshop, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Positive knowledge of body repair, denting, painting, vehicle assembly, and repair processes.
- Experience in accident/insurance vehicle repair will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
