Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable & Payable)

About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to independently manage both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions for our hospital located in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will ensure timely collections from patients, TPAs/insurance companies, and corporate clients, accurate payments to vendors and service providers, reconciliations, and compliance with statutory requirements — while maintaining strong coordination with hospital departments, patients/attendants, insurance desks, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR)

· Generate and verify patient bills, corporate/TPA invoices, and insurance claims accurately and on time

· Track outstanding receivables from patients, corporate clients, and TPA/insurance companies; follow up for timely collections

· Coordinate with the insurance/TPA desk for claim submission, follow-up, and settlement of pending claims

· Prepare ageing reports for patient dues, corporate accounts, and TPA/insurance receivables; escalate overdue accounts to management

· Reconcile patient and corporate accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with the billing/front-oAice team

· Post and allocate incoming payments (cash, cheque, bank transfer, UPI, card, insurance settlements, etc.)

· Coordinate with hospital departments (billing, front oAice, insurance desk) on credit terms, package rates, and patient/corporate disputes Accounts Payable (AP)

· Verify and process invoices from vendors, suppliers, and service providers (pharmacy, medical/surgical consumables, diagnostics, biomedical equipment, housekeeping, F&B;, AMC/maintenance contracts, consultant doctor payouts, etc.) against purchase orders/goods receipts

· Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and empanelled consultants within agreed credit terms





· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

· Maintain proper documentation for all payments (invoices, approvals, POs, delivery/service confirmations)

· Track and manage TDS, GST, and other statutory deductions on vendor and professional payments

· Assist in vendor onboarding and maintaining vendor master data, including pharmacy and consumable suppliers General / Common

· Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping records in Tally accurately

· Perform bank reconciliations on a periodic basis · Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

· Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation

· Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations

· Coordinate with the central/corporate finance team as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Semi-Qualified CA or equivalent

· Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in AR/AP or general accounting (candidates with combined AR & AP exposure preferred)

· Technical Skills: o Working knowledge of Tally (ERP/Prime) o Good working knowledge of MS Excel o Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance

· Soft Skills: o Strong attention to detail and accuracy o Good communication skills (English/Hindi/Assamese preferred) o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines o Strong follow-up and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders Preferred Attributes · Prior experience working in a hospital, healthcare, or diagnostics setup

· Familiarity with TPA/insurance claim processes and hospital billing systems (HIS)

· Exposure to handling both patient/insurance-facing (AR) and vendor-facing (AP) roles simultaneously

· Familiarity with local business practices and vendor ecosystem in Assam/Northeast region Location & Work Details

· Work Location: Guwahati, Assam (on-site, hospital premises)

· Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
