About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Director / Senior Business Analytics Manager to lead financial reporting, business analytics, oversight, and financial operations for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of relevant experience in the same capacity with large corporations / businesses and a strong combination of financial analysis, accounting, payroll review and release, AR ageing, reporting, reconciliation, business intelligence skills and business strategy development. This individual should be comfortable working independently, handling sensitive financial information, identifying trends and discrepancies, and presenting clear financial insights to senior management.

The role requires someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Prepare financial dashboards and management reporting packages.
- Identify key financial trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and projections.
- Support strategic planning and business decision-making through data-driven analysis.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and other management reports.

Accounting & Reconciliation

- Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and properly supported.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain robust internal controls over financial processes.

Business Analytics

- Translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and operational metrics.
- Build recurring reporting processes and automate manual reporting wherever possible.
- Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers and recommend improvements.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analysis as required.

Leadership & Process Improvement





- Establish and improve financial reporting and analysis processes.
- Create standardized reporting templates and operating procedures.
- Improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive financial and analytical tasks.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, leadership, accounting, and other teams.
- Take ownership of financial issues from identification through resolution.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information.

Required Experience

- 12+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, business analytics, FP&A;, or a related field.
- Must be familiar with US GAAP Accounting.
- Strong experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial reporting.
- Strong experience with account reconciliations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience preparing management reports and executive-level financial summaries.
- Experience working with U.S.-based businesses, clients, or financial reporting is highly preferred.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring finance/accounting/analytics team members is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.

- SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFS, and other logical functions
- Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
- Data validation and conditional formatting
- Advanced filtering and sorting

- Power Query
- Data cleansing and transformation
- Macros/VBA is a strong plus

Other Software / Technology Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:

- Accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Financial planning and reporting platforms
- Google Sheets
- Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations
- Experience with financial reporting or business intelligence automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA, CA, or equivalent qualification is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with U.S. accounting/financial reporting environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP is a plus.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level. You should be comfortable reviewing Dashboards, investigating a reconciliation issue, building an Excel financial model, analyzing business performance, and presenting key findings to leadershipall within the same role.

- Is interested in improving and automating financial processes rather than simply maintaining them.

Compensation 100,000 120,000 per month, based on relevant experience, technical capabilities, qualifications, and overall fit.
