About the Role

Vardaan Technologies Private Limited is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our technical service and project implementation team.

This is primarily a field-based technical role involving regular visits to customer locations and project sites for fault finding, troubleshooting, installation, configuration and maintenance of CCTV, networking and IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically sound, comfortable working at customer sites, and willing to travel within Delhi NCR and other project locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit customer and project sites for day-to-day technical troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, NVR/DVRs, PoE switches, cables and related equipment.
- Carry out network installation and troubleshooting, including switches, routers, LAN cabling, Wi-Fi and basic network configuration.
- Perform installation and configuration of desktop computers, laptops, printers and other IT peripherals.
- Provide Windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose hardware, software, connectivity and system-related issues.
- Handle preventive maintenance and breakdown calls at customer locations.
- Assist in implementation and commissioning of CCTV and IT/networking projects.
- Configure IP cameras, NVRs, network devices and related systems.
- Perform basic IP addressing, LAN configuration, ping/connectivity troubleshooting and device-level network diagnostics.
- Coordinate with customers and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain proper service reports, installation records and site documentation.
- Ensure timely closure of assigned service calls and project activities.
- Follow company safety, service and installation procedures.

Desktop & IT Support

- Windows installation and troubleshooting
- Desktop/Laptop hardware
- Printers and peripherals
- Basic software installation and configuration
- Hardware and connectivity troubleshooting

Candidate Profile

- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Networking or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant field-service experience preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking and desktop support will be preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently at customer locations.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Must be willing to travel regularly for customer visits and project sites.
- A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Significant – Field Job

This is NOT a desk-based IT support job. The selected candidate will be required to regularly travel to customer locations and project sites for service calls, troubleshooting, installations, commissioning and maintenance activities.

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
