Job Summary

Vatsalyavana is looking for a warm, energetic, nurturing, and creative Facilitator / Teacher to join our preschool and day care centers in Sector 70 and DLF, Gurgaon.

As a Facilitator / Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 months to 10 years. You will deliver age-appropriate activities, support children's overall development, maintain classroom routines, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.

Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Learning

- Deliver daily lesson plans and activities as per the Vatsalyavana curriculum.
- Conduct activities covering language development, motor skills, art & craft, music, storytelling, and early learning.
- Adapt activities according to children's age, developmental stage, interests, and learning pace.
- Use play-based and child-centric teaching methods to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and independent learning.

Child Engagement & Care

- Conduct circle time, free play, sensory activities, storytelling, music, and outdoor play.
- Build warm, caring, and trusting relationships with children.
- Observe and document children's milestones, interests, participation, and behaviour.
- Support daily routines including meals, nap time, toilet training, and diaper changes where applicable.
- Ensure children's emotional and physical well-being throughout the day.
- Respond patiently and positively to children's individual needs.

Classroom Management & Safety

- Maintain a clean, safe, colourful, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Follow all child safety, hygiene, and supervision protocols.




- Ensure appropriate child-to-teacher ratios are maintained.
- Keep toys, teaching aids, art materials, and learning resources organised and in good condition.
- Identify and raise requirements for classroom materials and supplies.
- Handle classroom transitions and routines calmly and effectively.

Parent & Team Coordination

- Share daily updates with parents through the centre app/diary.
- Capture and share relevant photos of children's activities as per centre guidelines.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and discuss children's progress with the Center Coordinator.
- Work closely with co-facilitators, caregivers, and the Head Office curriculum team.
- Support centre events, celebrations, assessments, and special activities.
- Attend regular training sessions on early childhood education, child psychology, first aid, and curriculum development.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in preschool, daycare, early childhood education, or teaching.
- Graduate with NTT / ECCE / B.Ed / Montessori certification / Nursing preferred.
- Good basic communication skills in English
- Strong storytelling, art & craft, and activity-planning skills.
- Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Experience or interest in dance, yoga, music, sports, or other extracurricular activities is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with children across different age groups.

Work Timings Centre Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Shift: 8 hours per day, rotational shifts as per the centre roster.
