Farmplex is looking for a responsible and hands-on Farm Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at our hill-location farm , where we are developing modern protected cultivation systems for Raspberry, Blueberry & Strawberry .
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily farm operations and ensure activities are completed as per schedule
- Manage irrigation and fertigation activities
- Monitor crop health, plant growth and farm conditions
- Execute and supervise agronomy activities as per the crop plan
- Manage farm labour, allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity
- Maintain records of irrigation, fertigation, labour, farm activities and inputs
- Regularly inspect polyhouses, plants, irrigation systems and farm infrastructure
- Identify crop-related issues and coordinate with the agronomy/management team
- Supervise harvesting and basic post-harvest activities
- Maintain farm cleanliness, discipline and safety
- Coordinate with the Farm Manager and management team for smooth farm operations
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in polyhouse / protected cultivation is required
- Candidates with experience in other crops grown under polyhouse, greenhouse or protected cultivation systems are welcome
- Good understanding of irrigation, fertigation and basic agronomy
- Experience in labour management and farm supervision
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day farm activities
- Comfortable working in a hill-location farm environment
- Good observation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work hands-on with the farm team
