Job Overview

Qualdow is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for projects.

Qualdow operates in the fenestration industry, specializing in doors, windows, façade, and related solutions for corporate offices, builders, hospitals, commercial spaces, and residential projects.

The candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings and project requirements, preparing quantity take-offs, estimating material and labour costs, preparing BOQs and quotations, and coordinating with the sales, design, project, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Study architectural, façade, and fenestration drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for doors, windows, façade, glazing, and related works.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project quotations.
- Calculate material, labour, installation, transportation, and other project-related costs.
- Obtain and compare material rates and supplier quotations.
- Coordinate with the sales and design teams to understand project requirements.
- Review project drawings and identify missing information or discrepancies.
- Prepare BOQs and maintain proper estimation records.
- Support the sales team in preparing commercial proposals and quotations.
- Revise estimates based on changes in drawings, specifications, or client requirements.




- Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure estimated costs are aligned with actual requirements.
- Maintain a database of material rates and supplier prices.
- Assist in analysing project profitability and cost variations.
- Ensure estimates and quotations are prepared accurately and within deadlines.

Key Skills & Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in estimation, preferably in fenestration, façade, doors & windows, aluminium, glazing, construction, or related industries.
- Good understanding of architectural and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and costing.
- Good understanding of materials, hardware, glass, aluminium, and related products will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other estimation-related software/tools.
- Positive analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with different departments.

Ideal Candidate A detail-oriented, analytical, and responsible professional who can prepare accurate estimates and quotations for fenestration, façade, doors, and windows projects, while coordinating effectively with sales, design, procurement, and project teams. Strong technical understanding, costing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are essential for this role.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
