/ Responsibilities

- Assist the gastroenterologist during endoscopic procedures by handling instruments and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment.

- Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and positioning.

- Maintain and sterilize endoscopy equipment and ensure all tools are in working order before and after procedures.

- Provide emergency support during endoscopic procedures and assist in managing any complications.

- Document clinical information accurately and maintain detailed records of procedures and patient interactions.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

- Educate patients and their families about procedure protocols and aftercare instructions.

- Monitor and report any adverse reactions or procedural complications immediately to the medical team.
