Role: Embedded Lead/Techncial Lead

Experience:8+ Years.

Location: Bangalore (WFO)

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related engineering discipline.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Embedded Lead with strong hands-on experience in firmware development for Embedded systems. The candidate should be capable of leading a team of embedded engineers, owning firmware design, supporting project execution, and working on industrial embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of 5+ embedded engineers for firmware development and delivery.
- Work hands-on in embedded firmware development using Embedded C/C++.
- Design firmware architecture using concepts such as state machines, layered architecture, multitasking, interrupt-driven design, and driver abstraction.
- Work on Bare-metal, RTOS, and Embedded Linux-based platforms.
- Handle or support execution of 2 or more projects in parallel.
- Participate in planning, estimation, task allocation,



progress tracking, and technical reviews.
- Work with industrial communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, CANopen, CAN, RS485, Ethernet, or similar.
- Support embedded development practices such as unit testing, code review, static analysis, cyclomatic complexity, code coverage, and coding standards.
- Understand hardware schematics and support hardware-firmware integration and debugging.
- Collaborate with hardware, testing, system, and project management teams.
- Be open to exploring new technical areas such as Embedded Linux security, secure boot, cybersecurity, and device hardening as required.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ firmware development.
- Hands-on experience in Bare-metal and RTOS-based embedded systems.
- Exposure to Embedded Linux development is preferred.
- Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, ADC, GPIO, Timers, Interrupts, DMA.
- Experience in firmware architecture and low-level design.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, CANopen, CAN, RS485, or similar.
- Experience in code quality practices including unit testing, code reviews, coding guidelines, static analysis, and code coverage.
- Ability to read and understand hardware schematics.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Good to Have

- Industrial automation domain experience.
- Knowledge of MISRA C, IEC 62443, secure boot, OTA updates, Linux security, or cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with tools such as Git, JIRA/Azure DevOps, static analysis tools, unit testing frameworks, and CI/CD.
- Exposure to customer communication and project management.
