Eligibility Criteria

- B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field

- 23 years of relevant, hands-on industry experience

- Willing to work remotely with regular video-call overlap with a UK-based team

- Immediate joiners preferred

Required Technical Skills

- PCB Design &
- Layout

: schematic capture through layout, using tools like KiCad / Altium

- Multilayer PCB Design, DRC &

- ERC rule checking

- Microcontrollers: AVR and ARM Cortex-M microcontroller families

- Communication Protocols: IC, SPI, UART (BLE experience required, see below)

- BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy): implementing communication across multiple embedded devices and Android/iOS mobile apps

- Sensor Interfacing: IC, SPI and similar buses

- Battery Management Systems (BMS) and power/energy optimisation for battery-powered devices

- Embedded C++ frameworks and MicroPython

- Hardware Troubleshooting &

- Debugging

: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter

- PCB Assembly, SMT Soldering &

- Testing

: prototype through production





- Product size optimisation: balancing electronics, battery, and enclosure

Preferred / Positive to Have

- Familiarity with certification processes and requirements (CE, FCC, RED, RoHS)

- RTOS / FreeRTOS exposure

- Experience shipping a consumer or industrial IoT product from prototype to production

Key Responsibilities

- Design, layout, and validate PCBs for embedded products, from prototype to production

- Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C++ (or MicroPython, as applicable)

- Implement and maintain BLE communication linking multiple devices with Android/iOS apps

- Interface sensors and peripherals over IC, SPI, and similar protocols

- Design and optimise BMS and overall power consumption

- Support certification readiness: documentation and pre-compliance checks

- Debug and troubleshoot hardware/firmware issues at the bench
