The main purpose of the Electrical Trainee to oversee and perform electrical installation, repair and maintenance work. The job role perks to the company in various ways such as the senior electrician will ensure all electrical systems and equipment function safely and efficiently, support production by minimizing downtime and mentor junior electricians.
2 CORE JOB AREA & JOB REPOSIBILITIES
System installation
-Senior electricians oversee the installation of electrical systems, components and equipment, ensuring proper wiring and panel installation.
Routine maintenance
-Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
Repair and Troubleshooting
-Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs.
Compliance and safety
-Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations
Supervising junior staff
-Ensuring their work meets the required standards and safety protocols.
3.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor s degree or diploma in electrical engineering
-0-2 years of experience in an electrical maintenance
-Valid electrician license or certification as per local regulations
4.SKILLS / BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
-Excellent analytical skills
-Excellent problem-skills
-Good communication and report writing skill
-Experience with preventive maintenance
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
-Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls
