Duration: Long-Term Contract

:

- Lead and support EZT to COBOL migration projects using IBM Migration Utility (IMU).

- Perform installation, configuration, and problem determination for IMU on customer systems.

- Analyze, convert, and validate Easytrieve Plus applications to COBOL.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IMU-related issues.

- Conduct customer training sessions and develop presentation materials for IMU and migration processes.

- Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

- Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions.

- COBOL knowledge.

Required Skills and Experience

- Robust Application Development or System Programmer background.

- Proven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS.





- Excellent customer interfacing and communication skills.

- Solid problem determination and troubleshooting ability related to IMU.

Proficiency in the following:

- z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF

- JCL (Job Control Language)

- Easytrieve Plus (working knowledge)

- COBOL (basic knowledge)

- DB2 and/or IMS environments

- Experience with the IBM Migration Utility (IMU) and its conversion methods.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

- Ability to conduct IMU training sessions (requires personal experience with IMU).

- Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations using Microsoft Word and other standard tools.

- Ability to assist clients in diagnosing and fixing conversion-related errors.
