We are seeking a detail-oriented Dynamics 365 Finance Operations (FO) Tester who can design and execute test cases, validate business processes, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions. The individual will be responsible for both manual testing and the development of automated test scripts, ensuring system stability and compliance across Finance and Operations modules, with focus on SCM and Retail Operations ;

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning Design

Work with Test lead , business analysts and functional consultants to understand requirements and processes.

Write comprehensive test cases, and test scripts covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT scenarios.

Maintain traceability between business requirements and test coverage.

Testing Execution

Perform manual testing across Finance and Operations modules, validating configurations, workflows, and customizations.

Log, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.

Support UAT by assisting end-users and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.

Test Automation (Must have)

Design and develop automated test scripts using the Elevaite 365, Executive Automats , Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) or equivalent frameworks.

Build reusable test libraries to accelerate regression testing.

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Performance testing (good to have);

Knowledge of non-functional testing methodologies, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for enterprise applications. ;

Experience building and executing multi-user performance test scripts using performance testing tools. ;

Ability to;analyse;performance test results,;identify;system bottlenecks, and collaborate with technical teams to support performance tuning and;optimisation. ;





Understanding of;D365 Finance Operations batch processing, integrations, and transaction workloads from a performance testing perspective. ;

Collaboration Quality Assurance ; Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure; timely ;resolution of issues. ;

Contribute to quality standards, testing methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. ;

Provide explicit reporting on test progress, coverage, and outcomes.

Required Technical Skills:

- Experience: 47 years in software testing, with at least 23 years on Dynamics 365 FO or AX.
- Core Skills
- Dynamics 365 Finance Operations (FO) knowledge
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases.
- Hands-on experience with RSAT, Elevaite 365, Executive Automats, Selenium, or other automation tools.

- Skills (Preferred):

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
- Understanding of FO modules (Retail, Finance, SCM, or Project Operations).
- Experience of testing Integrations

- Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Other Requirements:

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment testing.
- ISTQB or other testing certifications.
- Experience in large-scale ERP implementation or upgrade programs.
- Experience in Retail Domain is a plus
- Experience from providing/working with End user training is a plus
