Our clients include startups backed by a16z, Y Combinator, Peter Thiel, and other leading investors , working across SaaS, AI, robotics, deep tech, cybersecurity, and emerging technology.

Our work spans branding, positioning, websites, product storytelling, launch assets, and recent AI-native ways of building marketing experiences.

We’re a small team, so you’ll work closely with designers, developers, our delivery manager, and the founder.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Design Engineer, Web & AI who can take an idea from design to a polished, working website.

You should have strong visual taste and be comfortable designing high-quality marketing pages, but you should also enjoy figuring out how to actually ship what you design.

This is not a traditional UI designer role, and it is not a narrow frontend or Webflow developer role either.

You’ll sit somewhere in the middle.

You might design a page in Figma, use Claude, Cursor, Webflow, or code to get it implemented, fix what AI gets wrong, QA it across breakpoints, and help us build better systems for shipping websites faster.

We’re especially interested in someone who sees AI as part of the development workflow rather than something separate from it.

What You'll Work On

- Design high-quality marketing websites and landing pages
- Turn Figma designs into working pages using Webflow, code, and AI-assisted workflows
- Use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI development tools to speed up implementation
- Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when needed




- Build or edit pages using Webflow
- Work around modern stacks such as Astro, Next.js, or Sanity when required
- QA responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Fix implementation issues and improve design fidelity
- Build and maintain reusable components and design systems
- Help automate repetitive parts of the design-to-development workflow
- Experiment with new AI-native ways of building and shipping websites
- Work with our team to reduce handoffs between design and development
- Occasionally help build quick landing pages, prototypes, and internal experiments

What We're Looking For You probably fit this role if:

- You have strong visual taste
- You care deeply about typography, spacing, hierarchy, layout, and polish
- You can translate a visual direction into a complete responsive web experience
- You understand how websites actually behave outside Figma
- You are comfortable with Webflow
- You know enough HTML and CSS to understand and fix implementation issues
- You have some working knowledge of JavaScript
- You use AI tools to build, debug, or speed up your work
- You are comfortable figuring things out without having every step documented
- You enjoy both designing and making things real
- You care about how something works after it is shipped, not just how it looks in Figma

You Do Not Need To Be

- A senior software engineer
- A traditional Webflow-only developer
- A pure product designer
- An expert in every framework we use

But you should be comfortable moving between design, AI tools, Webflow, and frontend development.

Good To Have





- Experience with Webflow CMS, components, interactions, and custom code
- Experience using Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools
- Experience with Astro, Next.js, or Sanity
- Experience with Framer or other visual development tools
- Experience building design systems
- Experience with animations or interactions
- Experience connecting APIs, forms, or third-party tools
- Experience automating parts of a design or development workflow
- Side projects where you designed and shipped something yourself

- reduce the time between design approval and a working website
- ship more pages without relying on a separate developer for every build
- improve the quality of AI-generated implementations
- reduce handoffs between design and development
- build repeatable design-to-web workflows
- create better reusable components and systems
- help the broader team become more AI-native
- ship client work faster without compromising quality

How We'll Evaluate You Your portfolio matters more than your résumé.

We’ll look at

- quality of visual design
- typography, layout, and overall taste
- responsive thinking
- websites you have actually shipped
- how closely your implementation matches the design
- your ability to explain technical decisions
- how you use AI tools in your workflow
- side projects or experiments you’ve built yourself

As part of the process, we may give you a small practical exercise where you take a design and get it live using whatever tools you think are appropriate.
