Position Summary:
Ensure quality assurance and quality control of Medium Voltage (MV)motors/equipment across incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and final testing. The role focuses on compliance with customer specifications, international standards, continuous improvement, and reduction of defects and customer complaints.
Knowledge / Training:
Robust understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System; awareness of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. Knowledge of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and SOPs. Electric Machines manufacturing process. Standards of electrical MV machines specification. Quality of medium voltage machines. Training in customer complaint handling, CAPA implementation, and effectiveness validation. Knowledge of supplier quality assurance, incoming material inspection, and vendor audits.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in QA of MV - Induction Motor Manufacturing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quality team management, selecting, training, guiding and developing the team with focus on high efficiency performance.
Monitors process indicators and guide the team to achieve the targets.
Serve as the technical reference for quality activities, product testing methods, motor specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Promotes continuous improvement of quality processes, seeking to reduce waste and automate repetitive activities.
Maintain and manage Quality Management System, also maintaining updated company ISO certificates.
Manage the certification and compliance process within the company, looking at government and market requirements, ensuring that the company is following these requirements.
