1.JOB PURPOSE:

To oversee and coordinate daily production activities in the flour milling process, ensuring the productive and timely manufacturing of high-quality flour products in compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing production staff, optimizing operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment to meet production targets and company objectives.

2.CORE JOB AREA & JOB REPOSIBILITIES

Production Oversight

-Supervise daily flour milling operations to achieve production targets, schedules

Equipment Monitoring

-Ensure proper operation and maintenance of milling machinery to minimize downtime.

-Dust loading and related activities.

-Weigh bridge works should be properly attended to whenever required-

Quality Control

-Ensuring quality and standards of packing materials.

-Issue of Atta to employees

-Upkeeping, cleaning and maintenance of wheat and Maida godowns

Safety & Compliance

-Enforce safety, hygiene, and environmental standards in the production area.

-Should check the quality and standard of packing

-Should rectify the damages in the go down

Team Management

-Should work as team

-Should have earnest co-operation with his superiors and subordinates as well

-Ensuring proper loading process with first in first out and its supervision

-Proper counting during stacking should be done

-Submit daily dispatch report to manager

-Must have full control over the Bihari laborers under him

Communication and Reporting

-Work closely with maintenance, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth operations.

-Communicate daily goals, updates, and expectations clearly to team members.

-Reporting hourly production to the miller on duty.





-Register sales return should be maintained.

-Issue of gate pass as per requirements.

Process Improvement

-identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

-Supervising wheat issue to production, dumping and cutting and its record keeping.

-Loading Maida and other products and their stacking in vehicle should be supervised.

Inventory and Resource Management

-Monitor raw materials and manage inventory to ensure efficient resource use.

-Assist with cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.

-Maintenance of sale and stock chart.

3. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor s degree in any field required.
- Minimum 2 -3 years of experienced.
- Hands-on knowledge of milling equipment, quality control procedures, and safety standards.
- Experience in inventory and raw material management is preferred.

4 . SKILLS / BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES -Leadership Skills Ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve operational goals.

-Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.

-Time Management:Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage production schedules to meet deadlines.

-Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with milling machinery, production processes, and basic troubleshooting skills.
