Key Job Responsibilities

1. Denodo Platform Administration

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the Denodo Data Virtualization platform.
- Manage Denodo servers, environments, clusters, and platform availability.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity utilization.

2. Platform Support & Operations

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Denodo environments.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, query bottlenecks, connectivity failures, and platform incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

3. Security & Governance

- Configure authentication and authorization mechanisms (LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, Kerberos).
- Manage user roles, permissions, and data access controls.
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards and audit requirements.

4. Performance Optimization

- Tune virtual views, caches, and query execution plans.
- Optimize data federation and virtualization performance.
- Implement caching strategies to improve response times.

5. Workplace Management

- Support Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Handle deployments, migrations, and release activities.
- Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

6. Data Source Integration

- Configure and manage connectivity to databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, APIs, and files.




- Support integration with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake, Hadoop, AWS, Azure, and other enterprise systems.

7. Automation & DevOps

- Automate deployment and administrative tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
- Support CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
- Manage version control and promotion processes.

8. Monitoring & Reporting

- Configure monitoring tools and alerts.
- Track platform KPIs, SLAs, utilization metrics, and incident trends.
- Provide operational reports to stakeholders.

9. Collaboration

- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Application Teams, Infrastructure, Security, and Database Administrators.
- Assist development teams in designing and implementing optimized virtual data models.
