Role Description The Data Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and validating data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.

The Data

Specialist will perform data analysis, generate reports and dashboards, and support business teams with actionable insights. Day-to-day activities include maintaining data quality standards, monitoring data flows, assisting in data modeling tasks, and collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to support data-driven decision-making.



The role also involves documenting data processes, supporting compliance with internal data governance policies, and identifying opportunities to improve data structures and workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide transparent insights.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to solve problems, evaluate business questions, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess Data Management skills to collect, clean, organize, and maintain large and complex datasets.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Data Modeling to design or understand data structures that support reporting and applications.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) and comfort working with large data volumes.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a software or technology-focused organization and knowledge of data privacy and security best practices are beneficial.
