About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Data Analyst / Data Engineer Intern to join our Product & Technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on building and maintaining robust data pipelines, developing internal dashboards, and supporting data-driven workflows that underpin our operational and strategic decision-making processes. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing data across multiple systems, working with AWS databases, and developing applications using the Frappe Framework / ERPNext platform.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about data engineering, analytics, and software development, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and contribute to impactful projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in computer science principles, with practical experience in data management and software development. Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential,



along with a positive understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools like Postman will be advantageous.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. A background in building dashboards, working with ETL/ELT pipelines, and experience with AWS cloud services will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize data pipelines across various sources such as AWS RDS, Amazon Redshift, application databases, APIs, and internal systems like Google Sheets.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting purposes.
- Create Python scripts to automate data workflows, perform data validation, and handle ETL/ELT processes.
- Monitor scheduled data workflows and troubleshoot pipeline failures, missing data, duplicates, or schema issues.
- Implement data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure data accuracy between source systems and dashboards.
- Work with APIs and JSON payloads to facilitate seamless data integration across platforms.
- Document data sources, schemas, transformations, and dependencies to ensure transparency and maintainability.
- Design and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and internal tools using Frappe Framework / ERPNext.
- Connect Frappe applications with databases, APIs, and internal data pipelines to support business operations.
- Translate business requirements into structured datasets, KPIs, and dashboard components for various teams.




- Debug data discrepancies and enhance dashboard usability, performance, and data freshness.
- Support basic frontend customization using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Frappe scripting where necessary.
- Conduct API testing and debugging using tools like Postman, ensuring secure and reliable integrations.
- Assist in workflow automation, product testing, and data quality assurance prior to releases.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to streamline coding, data analysis, and documentation tasks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, SOPs, and implementation notes.
- Quickly adapt to new systems and collaborate across multiple technology platforms to meet project goals.
