Position: Compliance Officer / Quality Auditor /n Location: Brainware University, Barasat, Kolkata /n Employment Type: Full time /n Experience: Minimum 5 Years (Faced at least 2-3 NAAC/UGC/PCI/INC/WBNS/BCI visits) /n About the Role: /n Brainware University is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer / Quality Auditor who can lead institutional preparedness for regulatory inspections, accreditation processes, and quality audits. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in UGC compliance, NAAC accreditation, AQAR preparation, SSR documentation, handling NAAC/UGC/PCI/INC/WBNC/BCI visits, etc. /n The role requires strong coordination skills to work with all academic departments and administrative units to ensure complete visit readiness and continuous compliance with regulatory standards. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n

- Ensure institutional compliance with guidelines, regulations, and quality benchmarks of UGC and other regulatory bodies.

/n

- Conduct internal quality audits across departments and identify gaps in compliance.

/n

- Develop action plans and coordinate with Deans, HoDs, IQAC, and administrative teams for timely closure of compliances from the statutory bodies.

/n

- Prepare all departments for regulatory visits by ensuring:

/n /n 1.Proper documentation and records maintenance /n 2.Academic file readiness /n 3.Faculty profile and achievement documentation /n 4.Research, innovation, and extension activity records /n 5.Student-related records and outcome documentation /n 6.Infrastructure and facility compliance /n 7.Faculty, student and stakeholder sensitization /n /n

- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintaining institutional quality standards.

/n

- Monitor compliance with statutory bodies including UGC, NAAC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, INC, WBNC and other applicable regulatory frameworks.

/n





- Guide departments in documentation practices aligned with accreditation requirements.

/n

- Conduct mock audits and readiness assessments before external visits.

/n

- Maintain compliance dashboards and periodic quality reports for senior management.

/n /n Desired Candidate Profile: /n /n

- Extensive experience in NAAC accreditation, UGC & other compliance activities.

/n

- Must have experience in facing and handling at least 2-3 NAAC/UGC/PCI/INC/WBNS/BCI visits.

/n

- Strong understanding of higher education quality frameworks and accreditation processes.

/n

- Experience in preparing institutions for NAAC and other regulatory bodies' visits is highly preferred.

/n

- Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.

/n

- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and senior academic leaders.

/n

- Strong understanding of IQAC functioning, institutional best practices, and quality enhancement initiatives.

/n /n Educational Qualification: /n /n

- Minimum: Master's Degree in any discipline.

/n

- Candidates with Ph.D. and academic leadership experience will be preferred.

/n

- Experience in higher education institutions/universities will be an advantage.
