Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure, and highly available applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with public cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, containerization, and DevOps practices. This remote role requires collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable cloud environments and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.

- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.

- Configure and manage virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and cloud services.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and cloud service issues.

- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to support cloud-based applications.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

- Perform cloud resource optimization and capacity planning.





- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps.

- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:

- Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Microsoft Azure

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Pulumi).

- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification.

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

- Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and VPCs.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
