Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity verification, cost monitoring, and supporting documentation. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing client and subcontractor bills and a sound understanding of BOQs, construction drawings, specifications, and measurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit Running Account Bills, final bills, and supporting documents.
- Take measurements from site and drawings and prepare accurate quantity calculations.
- Prepare measurement sheets, abstracts, reconciliation statements, and billing summaries.
- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills against actual work executed and approved rates.
- Identify variations, additional quantities, and extra items beyond the original BOQ.
- Prepare rate analyses, revised estimates, deviation statements, and extra-item claims.
- Maintain records of measurements, approvals, invoices, work orders, and payment status.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements for cement, steel, concrete, and other major materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the accounts department.
- Monitor billed, certified, received, withheld, and outstanding amounts.
- Assist in project cost control, cash-flow preparation, and monthly financial reporting.




- Support the preparation of price-escalation claims and contract-related documentation.
- Follow up on bill certification, approvals, and payments.

Candidate Requirements
- B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction billing and quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, rate analysis, measurements, billing, and material reconciliation.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with CPWD/KPWD specifications and government billing procedures will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of billing or estimation software is preferred.
- Good analytical, numerical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines and coordinate with site and office teams.
- Willingness to visit project sites across Kerala when required.
