Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Gritupp is a full time, Onsite role responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision and roadmap. This role oversees software development teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance platform architecture.

The CTO collaborates closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with strategic objectives and market needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding product development cycles, prioritizing technical projects, establishing engineering best practices, and managing vendor and tool selection. The CTO also monitors emerging technologies, supports data-driven decision-making, and builds a high-performing, inclusive technology culture that supports continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- 3-5 Yrs of experience and should come from premium institutes as IIT, NIT, BIT etc.
- Strong background in Software Development and Architecture, including experience designing and scaling cloud-based platforms.




- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Project Management to align technology initiatives with business goals and manage complex, cross-functional programs.
- Experience in Product Development, partnering with product and business teams to define features, roadmaps, and user-focused solutions.
- Proven leadership in building, mentoring, and managing distributed engineering teams, with emphasis on collaboration and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices relevant to online marketplaces and enterprise clients.
- Prior experience in talent marketplaces, HR tech, or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
