YNOS Venture Platform is India's data intelligence & ecosystem platform for the early-stage startup ecosystem. Founded & incubated at IIT Madras, we sit at the intersection of data, technology, Capital and India's startup economy. Our long-term vision is to become India's supermarket for startups — the central platform through which any actor in the ecosystem such as Investors, Incubators, research institutions, service providers and Banks can discover, engage with, and transact with the startup world.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a strategy, business & HR oriented professional to work directly with the CEO and play a central role in building YNOS—from strategy and business growth to people, finance and operating infrastructure. The role combines the problem-solving rigour of consulting with the ownership and execution responsibility of an early-stage company. The role will have ownership of HR, finance and business operations, while also supporting the CEO on strategy, and other key company-wide initiatives.

- Partner closely with the CEO on strategy, priorities and execution, translating the company’s vision into clear initiatives, milestones and actions.
- Own HR and people agenda including organisation design, hiring, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, policies and building a high-performance culture.
- Drive financial and business operations , including budgeting, financial planning, MIS, cash-flow management, business performance tracking and coordination with external finance/accounting partners.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making through market research, competitive analysis, business cases, financial analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Drive cross-functional execution on high-priority initiatives,



ensuring teams are aligned on objectives, timelines, dependencies and outcomes.
- Support business development and growth initiatives, including identifying opportunities, evaluating partnerships and preparing analyses/presentations for investors, partners and clients.
- Build management dashboards and operating rhythms to track key business, financial, product and people metrics and provide the CEO with clear visibility on company performance.
- Own special projects / CEO priorities across strategy, operations, partnerships, fundraising and new business initiatives—often taking projects from ambiguity to execution.
- Establish scalable processes and governance as YNOS grows, while retaining the agility and entrepreneurial culture of an early-stage company.
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team , bringing data, structure and an objective perspective to key business and organisational decisions.

What We Are Looking For

- 8–20 years of overall strategy, HR, business or consulting experience, of which 3 yrs+ should be in operational people mgmt/ HR and consulting roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous business problems.
- Experience in HR/ people operations/ HR consulting, including hiring, performance management, organisation design and compensation.
- Comfortable working with financial statements, budgets, business plans and operating metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to create crisp presentations and executive-level communications.
- High ownership and bias for action—comfortable operating independently without a large support structure.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute, rather than simply advise.
- Prior experience in a digital platform, startup, scale-up or entrepreneurial environment would be a strong advantage.
