MISAT Charitable Foundation Trust invites expressions of interest from distinguished legal practitioners, retired judicial officers, and senior advocates to lead our legal advisory board and oversee statutory compliance, institutional frameworks, and community justice initiatives (including Project Soujanya Niyamamithra).
Scope of Responsibility
- Provide high-level legal counsel to the Board of Trustees on trust governance, statutory compliances, and state/central regulatory matters.
- Vet and approve institutional partnerships, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), contract agreements, and CSR funding documents.
- Lead and mentor the honorary legal panel for community outreach initiatives, free legal aid desks, and pre-litigation mediation programs.
- Represent the Foundation's statutory interests and guide legal policy across social welfare and educational ventures.
Desired Profile
- Degree in Law (LLB / LLM); enrollment with the Bar Council of India / Bar Council of Kerala.
- Minimum 10+ years of active standing at the Bar, corporate legal practice, or non-profit trust governance.
- Strong background in trust law, civil litigation, contracts, and regulatory filings.
- Commitment to public service, human rights, and social justice.
