Role Description The Chemistry Faculty member will teach chemistry courses with a focus on physical chemistry and related areas, delivering clear, engaging lessons aligned with the academy’s curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and updating lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, conducting laboratory sessions, evaluating student performance through assignments and exams, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves guiding learners in scientific inquiry, supporting their participation in projects and competitions, and contributing to curriculum development and academic planning.

The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues across disciplines,



participate in staff meetings, and engage in professional development activities. This is a full-time, in office role based in Kirawali.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Working knowledge of Physics to support interdisciplinary teaching and enhance scientific understanding.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials aligned with academic standards.
- Demonstrated Research skills, such as guiding student projects, staying updated with recent scientific developments, and integrating relevant findings into teaching.
- Relevant academic qualification in Chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field; higher qualifications preferred).
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience in secondary or higher secondary education, with familiarity in lab safety and practical demonstrations.
- Excellent communication skills, classroom management ability, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.
- Willingness to participate in school activities, parent interactions, and ongoing professional learning.
