Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role involves handling statutory compliance, tax planning and filings, audits, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Accountant will support budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization, and provide insights to leadership for decision-making.

Responsibilities may also include reviewing commercial contracts, coordinating with external auditors and consultants,



and contributing to the development of robust financial processes for an Ed-tech and academic setup.

Qualifications

- Professional accounting expertise, including strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit practices.
- Proficiency in taxation and compliance, including direct and indirect tax regulations, GST, and statutory filings.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort with technology-driven financial processes.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, cash-flow management, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with academic, operations, and leadership teams.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA or equivalent) with relevant experience; exposure to the education or Ed-tech sector is an advantage.
