Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Jaipur.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, posting journal entries, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, managing tax computations and filings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves budgeting and forecasting support, analyzing financial data to provide insights for management decisions, and assisting with audits and internal control reviews.

Accountant will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify financial matters, improve processes, and support overall business performance.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting and financial reporting skills, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in taxation, regulatory compliance, and knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and guidelines (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP).
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting to support decision-making.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with a focus on process improvement and internal controls.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification and a relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in consulting, skilled services, or corporate finance is beneficial; experience in the local Jaipur market is an advantage.
