Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chaos Engineer to design, implement, and execute chaos engineering practices across cloud-native and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure Chaos Studio and other chaos engineering tools to improve system resilience, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance in large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute chaos experiments to validate system reliability and resiliency.
- Implement failure injection strategies across cloud, application, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Utilize Azure Chaos Studio to orchestrate controlled fault scenarios.
- Work with development, SRE, DevOps, and cloud teams to identify critical failure points.
- Analyze experiment outcomes and provide recommendations to improve system resilience.
- Automate chaos testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop resilience dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
- Establish chaos engineering best practices, governance, and standards.
- Collaborate with incident management teams to perform post-incident resilience assessments.
- Validate disaster recovery and business continuity strategies through controlled experiments.
