Charge Capture/Reconciliation Support

Position Summary The Charge Capture Coordinator serves as a resource to hospital departments by providing support and guidance related to daily charge reconciliation activities. This position assists departments in identifying and resolving charge discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate charge capture, and supporting revenue integrity initiatives across all hospital facilities. The Coordinator also provides training and education to new users and conducts refresher training as needed to promote compliance and consistency in charge capture processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and review Daily Charge Reconciliation reports in Power BI and assist departments with unresolved reconciliation issues.

Follow up with departments that are behind on daily charge reconciliation activities.

Research and assist in resolving charge discrepancies, omissions, and charge-related errors.

Provide assistance in reviewing clinical orders, documentation, and charges to support accurate and compliant charge capture.

Serve as a resource for staff regarding charge capture policies, workflows, and best practices.

Provide one-on-one support to departments experiencing charge reconciliation challenges.





Conduct training for current users on charge reconciliation and charge capture processes.

Provide refresher training and ongoing education to departmental staff as needed.

Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

Collaborate with Revenue Integrity, Coding, Billing, HIM, Nursing, and ancillary departments to resolve charging issues.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Familiarity with hospital charges, clinical orders, and charge capture processes.

Basic knowledge of medical coding and/or healthcare billing preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform basic checks and balances and investigate discrepancies.

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments across seven hospital facilities.

Acute care hospital, revenue integrity, billing, coding, or charge capture experience preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
