Job Title: CDN & Edge Security Engineer(Remote)

We are looking for a CDN & Edge Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise CDN technologies, edge security, WAF, DNS, DDoS protection, and application performance optimization.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting global content delivery and edge security solutions across large-scale production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CDN and edge delivery solutions.
- Manage CDN performance, availability, caching, DNS, load balancing, and traffic routing.
- Support multi-CDN architectures and edge security services.
- Configure and optimize WAF policies and security controls.
- Implement and tune DDoS protection and bot mitigation solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex CDN, DNS, networking, routing, performance, and security incidents.
- Act as an L3 escalation point for critical production issues.
- Lead technical investigations and root-cause analysis.
- Work with cloud providers, vendors, and internal teams during critical incidents.
- Monitor logs, telemetry, security events, and performance metrics.




- Develop dashboards and reporting for proactive monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and security.

Required Skills

- Strong enterprise experience with CDN and Edge Security.
- Hands-on experience with Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, or similar CDN platforms.
- Solid knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and L3/L4/L7 security.
- Hands-on experience with WAF and DDoS mitigation.
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale production environments.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Multi-CDN experience.
- Bot management / anti-automation technologies.
- Zero Trust and edge security architecture.
- Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform.
- API security.
- Modern web application architectures.
- Large enterprise / e-commerce environment experience.
- Relevant CDN, cloud, or security certifications.

Work Mode: Remote Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days preferred
