About the Role

We are looking for a high-caliber sourcing professional with a strong industrial manufacturing, heavy engineering, or steel industry background. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing raw material or commodity categories and possess a strong understanding of material applications, supplier ecosystems, and strategic sourcing.

This role requires the ability to drive sourcing decisions by balancing technical requirements, product applications, and commercial considerations while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Location: Mumbai (BKC - Bandra Kurla Complex)

Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days a Week)

Education: MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 B-School (Mandatory)

Total Experience: 7-13 Years

Post-MBA Experience: 5-6 Years

Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate

Interview Process: 2 Virtual Rounds

Key Responsibilities

7-13 years of total experience with 5-6 years of post-MBA experience.

MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute only.

Experience from Industrial Manufacturing, Steel, Heavy Engineering, Automotive, Capital Goods, or similar sectors.

Strong exposure to steel sourcing, metal commodities, and material applications.





Deep understanding of raw materials and their impact on product performance, manufacturing processes, and cost structures.

Ability to connect material specifications with end-use applications.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Proven experience working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Commercial acumen combined with technical understanding of products and materials.

Target Companies

Professionals from leading Industrial Manufacturing, Steel, Engineering, Heavy Equipment, Automotive, Capital Goods, or Process Industry organizations with solid experience in raw material sourcing, category management, and supplier development.

Preferred Background
