About the Role

DES-TECH Academy is looking for a motivated and communication-oriented Career & Admissions Executive to guide prospective students in choosing suitable career-oriented courses and support them throughout the admission process.

The role involves understanding student requirements, explaining course options, following up with enquiries and leads, conducting counselling conversations, and converting suitable enquiries into admissions.

The ideal candidate should be confident in communication, comfortable speaking with students and parents, and motivated by achieving admission targets while maintaining a qualified and student-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to enquiries from prospective students through phone, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
- Understand students' educational background, career interests and learning requirements.
- Explain the academy's courses, curriculum, duration, career opportunities, fees and other relevant details accurately.
- Counsel prospective students and help them identify courses aligned with their career goals.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students who have shown interest in the courses.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups and admission status.
- Convert qualified leads into course admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.
- Achieve individual and team admission targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents throughout the enquiry and admission process.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding experience.
- Maintain professional communication and provide accurate information without making misleading promises regarding jobs, salaries or career outcomes.
- Participate in student engagement activities, counselling sessions, seminars,



educational events and promotional activities when required.
- Prepare regular updates on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions and admissions.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent in Malayalam
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable courses.
- Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace or CRM systems.
- Ability to work towards measurable admission targets.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education counselling, admissions, inside sales, student recruitment, customer relationship management or a similar role.
- Experience working in a training institute, educational organisation or professional-skills academy.
- Familiarity with digital lead management, WhatsApp Business or CRM tools.
- Previous experience in a target-oriented role.
