We're Hiring: Calypso Business Analyst — Back Office (FTE) | 5+ Years

Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune (Hybrid – 3 days/week)

Notice period: Immediate to 21 Days

About the Role

This is a hands-on functional role supporting the evolution and maintenance of the Calypso platform within a Back-Office environment. Working closely with Back-Office Operations and IT teams, you will analyse business requirements, define functional solutions, and produce clear specifications for the Calypso Technical Analysts and development teams — owning the requirement through to specification, test and go-live.

What you'll do

- Gather, clarify and analyse business requirements from Back-Office stakeholders
- Define post-trade solutions — confirmations and settlements, payments and cash management, trade lifecycle events, accounting and reconciliations, and interfaces with custodians, payment and accounting systems
- Define Calypso configuration requirements — workflows, tasks, static data, message formats and reporting needs
- Analyse the functional impact of changes on processes, products, interfaces and downstream systems
- Define test strategies and scenarios,



coordinate UAT, and drive defect resolution
- Support release preparation and provide functional support for production incidents, including root-cause analysis

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- Proven, hands-on experience as a Calypso Business Analyst in a Back-Office environment (Front-Office-only Calypso experience does not meet this requirement)
- Strong knowledge of Back-Office processes — settlement, payments, accounting, confirmations and reconciliation
- Valuable working understanding of Calypso Back-Office modules, workflows, tasks, static data, message formats and reporting
- Experience gathering requirements and personally authoring detailed functional specifications
- Ability to work effectively with Calypso Technical Analysts and development teams
- Experience defining test scenarios and supporting UAT with business users
