The Business Manager Current Account role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The role involves acquiring and managing current account relationships, focusing on business customers and SMEs to drive current account deposit growth .

The Business Manager will regularly be in touch with branches and employees, understand their banking needs, and guide on suitable products and services, including transaction banking solutions and digital platforms.

Key tasks include monitoring account activity, ensuring high service standards, coordinating with internal teams for smooth onboarding and documentation, and maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The role also involves achieving sales targets, preparing periodic business reports, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to risk management and customer retention strategies.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of current account products, transaction banking,



and business banking operations.

Experience in sales and relationship management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with business clients.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs, review account activity, and manage risk.

Comfort with digital banking platforms, MS Office tools, and data reporting for business tracking.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in management or banking are an advantage.

Understanding of RBI regulations, KYC norms, and internal compliance processes relevant to current accounts.

Ability to work in a target-driven environment, manage multiple client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional.
