Role Description The Business Development Manager – SAP Business One is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune metropolitan area. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for SAP Business One solutions, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role involves conducting client meetings and product demonstrations,

understanding customer business processes, and proposing appropriate SAP Business One configurations and services.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with technical and consulting teams to prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and ensure smooth handover from sales to implementation. Day-to-day activities include maintaining a structured sales pipeline, achieving revenue and margin targets, nurturing long-term client relationships, and providing regular market and competitor insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospect qualification, and deal closure in ERP or SAP Business One solutions.




- Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling to small and mid-sized businesses.
- Ability to understand business processes (finance, inventory, operations) and translate them into solution requirements for SAP Business One.
- Proficiency in preparing proposals, sales presentations, and commercial negotiations, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and HR teams.
- Prior experience in SAP Business One or other ERP product sales is highly desirable; exposure to IT services or consulting is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site, target-driven environment in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with strong ownership and self-management.
