We're hiring: Business Development Executive (Admissions) — The Editing Lab, Pune The Editing Lab is a video editing institute in Pune. We teach offline, inside a working production studio, on real project footage.
What you'll actually do
→ Call inbound leads within minutes, not hours
→ Get the qualified ones to book a 30-minute studio visit — this is the number you'll be measured on
→ Run the counselling conversation at the office and close the admission
→ Talk to parents. Most of our students are in college; parents make the final call
→ Build relationships with colleges, channel partners and student communities across Pune
→ Run demo sessions and workshops on campus with our team
→ Keep the pipeline clean, every lead logged, followed up, marked open or closed. No lead goes cold silently
→ WhatsApp and call follow-ups across weekday, weekend and online batches
→ Weekly reporting: leads, calls,
visits booked, visits done, admissions
Who we're looking for
→ 1–2 years in inside sales, admissions counselling or ed-tech BD. Freshers who can sell will be considered
→ Fluent Hindi and English. Marathi is a real advantage here
→ Comfortable with 60+ calls a day and unbothered by a "no"
→ Pune-based. Full-time, in-office at our studio
→ Expertise in Excel /Google Sheets
→ You don't need to know how to edit. You do need to be curious about the creator economy, because you'll be selling to people who live in it
