We are looking for a Kolkata-based Business Development Associate with hands-on experience working with government departments, government proposals and tenders.

This is a field- and follow-up-intensive role. The person will prepare and submit proposals to government departments, coordinate meetings and clarifications, and follow up persistently until the next steps are clear.

Responsibilities

- Identify government departments, PSUs and public authorities where our services and proposals may be relevant.
- Prepare tailored proposals, capability notes, letters, presentations, quotations and supporting documents with internal teams.
- Submit proposals through the required physical, email or online channels.
- Visit government offices in Kolkata regularly to coordinate meetings, clarify requirements and follow up on submitted proposals.
- Maintain a structured tracker of every proposal, contact, meeting, commitment, next action and follow-up date.
- Schedule and support presentations, demonstrations and discussions with departments.
- Gather information about upcoming requirements, schemes,



projects, empanelments and procurement opportunities.
- Represent the organization professionally and follow ethical and lawful business-development practices.

Requirements
- Must be based in Kolkata and available for regular field visits.
- Familiarity with GeM, CPPP/eProcure and state tender portals.
- Prior hands-on experience working with government departments and tenders is mandatory.
- Ability to understand government processes, documentation requirements and follow-up channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication and proposal-preparation skills.
- Persistent, organized and comfortable managing long follow-up cycles.
- Proficiency with documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs and online portals.

Nice to Haves
- Existing qualified familiarity with West Bengal government departments and PSUs.
- Previous experience in B2G sales, government consulting or proposal coordination.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any field.
- One or more years of relevant experience preferred; directly comparable government and tender experience is mandatory.
