About the Role

Institute of Banking (IOB) is looking for an energetic, confident, and target-oriented Business Development Associate to join our Business Development & Admissions team.

The role involves connecting with prospective students, providing career counselling, explaining IOB programs, managing follow-ups, and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand candidates’ career goals and educational background.
- Explain IOB courses, certifications, training programs, and placement opportunities.
- Provide effective career counselling and guide candidates toward suitable programs.
- Follow up with leads, callbacks, and prospective students.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Handle candidate objections and queries professionally.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.




- Maintain a positive relationship with students throughout the admission process.

Skills Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Hindi and English communication; Marathi is an advantage.
- Strong convincing, counselling, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to handle pressure and work in a performance-driven setting.
- Basic knowledge of CRM, MS Office, and Google Workspace.

Eligibility

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills can apply.
- Experience in inside sales, education counselling, admissions, telecalling, EdTech, BFSI, or business development will be preferred.
