We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to collect blood and other clinical samples safely and accurately while maintaining proper hygiene, patient comfort, and specimen quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collection through venipuncture and capillary sampling.
- Verify patient identity and test requirements before sample collection.
- Properly label, document, store, and transport collected samples.
- Handle patients professionally and ensure their comfort during collection.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and biomedical waste disposal procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sample collection area and equipment.
- Monitor patients for dizziness, fainting, or other reactions after blood collection.
- Maintain accurate patient and sample records.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely processing of samples.
- Assist with home sample collection or health camps when required.
Qualification:
- DMLT / B.Sc MLT / Phlebotomy Certification or relevant qualification.
- Freshers with proper practical training may apply.
- Previous hospital/laboratory experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Good venipuncture and sample collection skills.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month Salary will be based on qualification and experience.
