About the Role

We are looking for a Bridge Design Engineer to join our team at Geo Designs & Research Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara. The candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and detailing of bridges and related structures, working closely with planners, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet all safety standards, timelines, and budget requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed structural designs and construction drawings for various types of bridges — RCC, PSC, Steel, and Composite — covering superstructure and substructure elements
- Design bridge components such as piers, abutments, foundations, girders, decks, bearings, and expansion joints as per IRC, IRS, IS, and MoRTH codes
- Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and modelling using advanced engineering software
- Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, technical notes, and justification documents for submission to clients and authorities




- Review drawings prepared by CAD teams and ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards
- Conduct structural inspection and assessment of bridges where required and prepare structural condition reports
- Coordinate with geotechnical teams, highway designers, architects, and site engineers
- Provide technical support during project execution — addressing design queries, reviewing construction methodology, and recommending changes if required
- Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, standards, and project specifications
- Prepare periodic project progress reports and ensure timely submission of deliverables

Software Proficiency Required

- AutoCAD — preparation of drawings and detailing
- STAAD.Pro — structural analysis and design
- MIDAS Civil / Gen — advanced bridge modelling and analysis

Salary: To be finalized post-interview based on qualifications, experience, and market standards

Willingness to Travel: Candidate must be willing to travel across India as per project requirements
