About the role
As a Brand Strategist at Wellbeing Nutrition, you'll own how our brand competes, communicates, and grows across categories. Partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Creative teams and working with consumer research and data across platforms you'll develop insights and translate business priorities into clear strategic direction—shaping everything from positioning and category messaging architecture to campaigns, launches, and cultural moments.
Key Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging
- Develop positioning and messaging hierarchies for categories, services, and communities.
- Craft communication frameworks and strategic briefs that spark creative excellence.
Campaign & Communication Strategy
- Define campaign objectives, target audiences, and communication territories.
- Drive go-to-market planning for recent products and categories.
- Lead communication strategy for social campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Evaluate creative work against strategic intent and business impact.
Brand Governance & Consumer Research
- Design and lead primary research (qualitative and quantitative)
and synthesize secondary data, cultural trends, campaign analytics, and category signals into compelling strategic narratives.
- Establish strategic guardrails for marketing, design, and communications.
- Ensure cohesion and consistency across category messaging and overall brand identity.
Required Qualifications
- ~8 years of experience in account planning, brand strategy, or a related strategic role at a creative, media, research, or brand consulting agency; OR equivalent experience in-house at a leading brand-focused consumer company with significant digital commerce and marketing footprint.
- A portfolio of strategic briefs that sparked standout, award-winning, or category-defining creative work.
- Demonstrated ownership of brand and campaign positioning and architecture work that drives business outcomes—not just campaigns.
- Familiarity with research and listening tools such as Brand health tracking, Kantar, Brandwatch, or Google Trends, Amazon data
- Strong command of consumer psychology, brand-building frameworks, and both qualitative and quantitative research methods—including experience designing and using primary research.
- Experience in health, wellness, nutrition, and the fitness space (preferred).
- Track record building premium or lifestyle, new-age brands (required).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, business, psychology, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required; we welcome people from different educational background with solid creative thinking).
