A BPO based in Ahmedabad with UK operations looking for strong technical accountant to support our UK team remotely.

This role is focused on bookkeeping, VAT returns, and year-end accounts preparation, primarily

Location: India (Remote – supporting UK team)

Experience Required: Minimum 3–4 years in UK accounting

1. The role involves end-to-end bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and FreeAgent, including bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and data reviews.
2. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing UK VAT returns across standard, flat-rate, and cash accounting schemes.
3. The role also includes independently preparing year-end accounts under FRS 102/FRS 105 and Corporation Tax Returns (CT600) using TaxCalc.
4. Strong knowledge of UK accounting rules, attention to detail, accuracy, documentation, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision are essential.
5. Experience with personal tax, UK payroll, and CIS returns will be an added advantage.
6. This is a full time remote position working UK hours, ideal for a hands-on accounting technician experienced in working with UK outsourcing firms or accountancy practices.
