Experience: 2–5 Years (Field Coordination & Team Management Preferred)

Location: Block Level (Field + Office)

About the Role

We are looking for a agile Block Coordinator to oversee and coordinate Organic Farming, Natural Farming, and PGS India Certification activities at the block level. The candidate will supervise Local Resource Persons (LRPs), coordinate with farmer groups, and ensure smooth implementation of project activities within the assigned block.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and monitor project implementation across the assigned block.
- Supervise and guide Local Resource Persons (LRPs) and field teams.
- Mobilize and coordinate farmer groups for PGS India Certification and organic farming initiatives.
- Ensure proper farmer registration, documentation, and certification records are maintained.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor farming practices and certification compliance.
- Organize block-level farmer meetings, training programs, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns.
- Review field reports, survey data, and documentation submitted by LRPs.
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, FPOs, NGOs, and local government departments.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities, reporting, and certification milestones.
- Identify field challenges and provide timely support to field teams and farmers.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of PGS India Certification process and field-level certification requirements.
- Understanding of Organic Farming and Natural Farming practices.




- Experience in farmer documentation, surveys, and field coordination.
- Ability to manage field teams and coordinate activities at the block level.
- Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple field activities.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned block for field visits and farmer coordination.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working with FPOs, NGOs, government agriculture projects, or rural livelihood programs.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with farmers, village institutions, and project stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and community-based farming initiatives.
