Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate blast furnaces to produce high-quality pig iron.

- Monitor and control the process parameters to optimize production efficiency and quality.

- Ensure proper functioning of water systems, including cooling towers, condensers, and other related equipment.

- Manage fuel consumption patterns to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5-10 years of experience in blast furnace operations or a related field (iron making).

- Diploma or degree in Metallurgical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.).

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, production management, shop floor management, and process optimization techniques.

- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as cranes and excavators; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
