Biomedical Equipment Service Engineer

Job Summary

Ckarin Medrec is looking for a skilled and motivated Biomedical Equipment Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment, particularly optical surgical cameras and related surgical imaging systems, at hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, test, and commission optical surgical cameras and medical equipment at hospitals and clinics.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing of medical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical, electrical, electronic, camera, and connectivity-related issues.
- Provide in office technical support to hospitals, doctors, and medical staff.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and explain basic operation and maintenance procedures to users.
- Inspect equipment and identify defective components or technical problems.
- Carry out repairs, replacement of components, calibration, and system testing when required.
- Maintain accurate service reports, installation records, and customer documentation.
- Coordinate with the internal technical and sales teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Travel to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities for installation and service assignments.
- Follow company safety procedures and ensure proper handling of medical equipment.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering,



Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in medical equipment installation, servicing, or maintenance will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in surgical cameras, endoscopy systems, medical imaging equipment, or hospital equipment will have an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuits, video signals, connectors, and equipment connectivity.
- Willingness to travel for field service and installation work.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.

Preferred Experience 1–3 years of experience in biomedical equipment service, medical equipment installation, or a related field.

Freshers with relevant Biomedical/Electronics qualifications and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
