Role Description This full-time, in office Biomedical Engineer role is based in Kanyakumari.

The Biomedical

Engineer will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining a range of medical equipment used in healthcare facilities. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize equipment downtime. The role involves documenting service activities, maintaining maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The Biomedical

Engineer will collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment performance needs, provide user training when required,



and support continuous improvement of biomedical systems and processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering to support safe and effective use of medical technology.
- Candidates should possess skills in Medical Equipment handling and Equipment Maintenance for installation, calibration, and repair activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan and execute routine inspections and servicing schedules.
- Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical faults and implement timely solutions.
- Knowledge of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and technical teams, and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical engineering environments is an advantage.
